Imfundo yamakhono ingenye yezindlela  zokuzitholela  amathuba omsebenzi ngaphandle kokuba neziqu(degrees). Kanti kulesikhathi lapho kunesibalo esiphezulu kakhulu sabantu abasha abaneziqu zasemanyuvesi kodwa abangasebenzi ngenxa yokuncipha kwamathuba. Nabo sekungaba isu elihle ukuthi baqeqeshelwe imfundo yamakhono ngaphezu kweziqu zabo.

Ngokwesitatimende esithuyelwe abezindaba sithi iSteel and Engineering Industries Federation of Southern Africa (Seifsa) ithi ukufundela ikhono kumele kube seqhulwini ezinqondweni zabantu abasha kanye nakubazali babo.

ISeifsa iyi federation emele ososesheni abangu-18 babaqashi ngaphansi komkhakha we metal and engineering kuhlangene nezinkampani ezingamalunga abalelwa ngaphezu kuka 1,200 eziqashe izisebenzi ezingaphezu kuka 170,000.

UZizile Lushaba oyisikhulu esiphezulu enkampanini iHuman Capital and Skills Development, uthe nakuba imfundo yeziqu iholela kangcono kuneyamakhono kodwa umuntu kumele abe eqashiwe ukuze athole umholo.

Eqhuba uLushaba uthe bancane kabi abantu abahlezi emakhaya abanemfundo yamakhono abangaqashiwe uma kuqhathaniswa nalabo abaneziqu zasemanyuvesi.

 “Imfundo oyithola ngokuqeqeshwa ube usebenza iyona eyenza ukuthi abantu babe nesiqiniseko sokuthola ithuba lokuqashwa” kugcizelela uLushaba.

Ephetha uLushaba uthi ukholelwa ekutheni abantu abazimiselayo, abakwazi ukuzifundela nokuthanda ukuba abaqaqi bezinkinga ngokusebenzisa izandla zabo, ibona abathola amathuba emsebenzi efana neye welding, fitter and turner, electrician noma  pipe fitter kanye nezinye izinhlobo zemisebenzi.
